Earthing is a complex safety system in itself. Its purpose is to protect life as well as keep equipment operational in the event of a fault. So, when part of the earth is stolen, this can inadvertently put people at risk of death....this can range from the innocent passer-by to the actual thief him/herself.
Not only is there a safety concern to address but the cost to reinstate stolen systems far exceeds what the thief can earn in removing it.

EES has been working with a number of parties to limit the thieves earning ability by making it far harder to remove in the first place. These ‘hard’ anti-theft measures include the following:
In addition to these 'hard' options, EES has struck up a partnership with DNA tracking products, which can positively identify either the stolen material and/or the person who has come into contact with the stolen material providing the police with a trail to follow and prosecute.
