In order to maintain reasonable prices, we must constantly strive to reduce our costs. Customer orders and enquiries must be serviced promptly, professionally and courteously.
Our suppliers and agents must have an opportunity to make a fair profit.
We are responsible to our employees. Everyone must be considered with respect as an individual, and must recognise each person's contribution/merit brought to the organisation. Working conditions must be safe as practically possible. Compensation must be fair and adequate.
We must be mindful of ways to help our employees fulfill their family responsibilities. Employees must feel free to make suggestions and constructive complaints.
We must provide competent management, and their actions must be just and ethical.
We are responsible to the communities in which we live and work and to the wider world community as well. We must continue to protect the environment and its natural resources.
Our final responsibility is to our shareholders. Business must make a sound profit. We must experiment with new ideas responsibly, innovations must be developed and mistakes paid for. Reserves must be created where possible to provide for adverse times. When we operate according to these principles, the shareholders should realise a fair return.
